In 2016, Pueblo Voted To Become Napa Valley of Marijuana Industry

In the 2016 general election, there were 5 marijuana ballot questions, 3 of them having the potential to shut marijuana industries in Pueblo County & Pueblo City down. A 4.3% tax on marijuana shops in the city failed (Question 2C) & another marijuana ballot initiative limiting 18 plants per parcel of land passed (Question 1C). Question 1C was voted on by all of Pueblo County.

Question 300 & Question 2B could have shut down retail marijuana shops in Pueblo City, & Question 200 could have shut down retail marijuana shops in Pueblo County. All 3 of those Prohibition ballot questions - Question 200, 300, & 2B - were righteously vanquished. Question 2B was not-to-be. The anti-marijuana fascist reactionary haters were handed a resounding defeat. They tried to shut the legalization of marijuana down, but the people of Pueblo doubled down, & voted the legalization of marijuana up, yet once again. What a delicious victory.

Here's how the numbers breakdown:

Question 2B (City): 24,330 (51.05%) to 23,333 (48.95%), by 997 votes.

Question 200 (County): 45,728 (58%) to 33,334 (42%), by over 12,394 votes.

Question 300 (City): "No = 29,476 votes" versus "Yes = 18,724 votes" (61.15% to 38.85%), by over 10,752 votes.

The baby boomers have been lying to the younger generation for years. Marijuana is a not a Schedule 1 drug! GTFO here! Marijuana isn't on the same level as heroin, crack, ludes, PCP or acid, hell, marijuana isn't even alcohol. Amerika, you've been lying about marijuana for 46 years! Since 1971! Baby boomers... stop lying to your kids!

The reactionaries tried to shut marijuana down, but the people of Pueblo instead, declared marijuana legal here, again, which opens the door-of-change up for miles. Legalization advocates can breathe a sigh of relief. Marijuana isn't going anywhere. At least not in Pueblo. Pueblo & Marijuana will be happily married until the end of time. Pueblo can be proud that we're now the Napa Valley for the Marijuana Industry. While this is oversimplifying, macroeconomics is fundamentally based on the notion that the more stuff we as a society produce, the better our economy will be. In short, if we produce lots of stuff, then the standard of living will go up. For everybody.

Because of the marijuana industry, the Puebloan people will be filthy rich in no time.
