The 4th Mayoral Forum of Pueblo City (The July Forum)

Image result for amado vigil Who won? Who lost? All who showed up, won. All who didn't, lost. The July 11th Mayor Forum - the 4th Postmodern Mayoral Forum of Pueblo City - was about Disabilities & people who care about the Disabled. Who could hate the organizers of it? Can we assume that those who boycotted the event, do not care for the Disabled?

Larry Atencio didn't bother to show up. Dennis the Nazi didn't show up. Lori the Nazi didn't show up either, since, for her, these Mayoral Forums weren't sanctioned by the Owners of Pueblo City; namely, Bob Schilling. Melissa Madrid, Nestor Machado, Brian Dorsey, John Carrero, Peter Vansalisbury, & Keith Rickwalt were no-shows as well. Who n the f is Melissa Madrid? Does Brian Dorsey even want to be known? How bout Rickwalt? John Nevel had business in Oklahoma.

12 of the 23 candidates, however, did show up. Charlotte Perez, Nick Ayers, Janet Wilson, Jackie Massey, Amado Vigil, Tom Croshal, Ebony Lombardi, Gary Clark, Tony Pemberton, Steve Nawrocki, & Ted Lopez were there. Nick Gradisar eventually showed up, 30 minutes late, after speaking at a meeting w/ "employees". The 4th Mayoral Forum - the July Mayor Forum - finally saw Nawrocki show up. Nick Gradisar has shown up to all 4 Mayoral forums conducted on the 4th Floor in the Rawlings Library so far.

imho, Amado Vigil, a newcomer, & Steve Nawrocki, an oldcomer, "won". My vote is still going for Massey, I think, though Janet Wilson has said that the War on Drugs is a failure, which is more progressive than Jackie, who has only said that it's "overrated" in the past.

Steve Nawrocki hadn't attended any of the Mayoral Forums, but finally realizing he needed to, did. The 4th one. That took courage. He came wearing jeans, & he couldn't, wouldn't, disavow, bullies, for some crazy reason. He seemed to say that they're a fact of nature, & besides that, City Council would have to approve any & all things the Mayor does, so nothing can ever be done, nothing really matters, nothing ever matters...

So Steve Nawrocki showed up, like Gradisar the Architect of the Mayor has done 4 times in a row now, & that was good for him. Gradisar is sucking all of the establishment air, so if any of them wanted a chance, they'll need to stand next to Nick a few more times before Election Day, & offer a better, albeit slightly progressive, "keep things the same" establishment vision.

The reason why Nawrocki won is because he didn't shit his pants. He spoke confidently - not charismatically, nor inspirationally - but Steve did speak complete sentences, & offer a message of, "I've been President of City Council for 8 years. I got experience. I know that I have to work with City Council, so just vote for me again. Just do it Pueblo. Give ol' Steve another 5 years of that good stuff, that unlimited absolute power over Pueblo City... just Complete Dominion, for 5 years, that's all Pueblo City... NOW! uh, I mean, plz..."

Amado Vigil spit out policy solutions, & didn't have the fluff the other bullshitters had. Vigil's answers were sharper, more poignant, & while I like hearing, "I'm running to be Mayor because I truly genuinely care", I need policy solutions to the city's problems. Amado Vigil was a new face, & genuinely cares about the Homeless, & said he wanted a City-Owned &/or Constructed Homeless Shelter for Pueblo City. In his 1st 90 days, a Vigil Administration is going to start an Anti-Suicide squad on the police force. That's precise. That's specific. That very well could be the Luke Skywalker shot into the Death Star... in this overcrowded field (23 candidates), which dark horse candidate is going to break free, above the others, by 1 or 2 percent, barely ahead, just in the nick of time, beating the others? It's anybody's ballgame. There's no clear frontrunner, although there's clear establishment insider frontrunners (Gradisar, Nawrocki, Atencio), & clear anti-establishment outsider frontrunners as well (Pemberton, Wilson, Massey). Since there's no clear "break over 50% of the popular vote in the 1st Round Election" frontrunner, that means that the 2nd round of Pueblo's 2-Round Runoff Voting System will kick-in, and we'll have another Mayoral Election & find out who Pueblo's Mayor is at the end of January 2019, from only the "Top 2" candidates of 23 total picked this November 6, 2018 Governor/Midterm/Mayor Election in Kolorado.

23 candidates is going to be grinded down into just 2... like a Survivor match, but instead of voting 1 person off of the island per day as IRV/RCV/Preferential Voting would have done in each of it's 10 Runoff Elections, now, instead, we Puebloans are going to sink 21 of these 23 boats, of these self-appointed Saints & heroes of the people, in one day, in one moment, in one fell swoop, on November 6, 2018, at least 21 heads will be rolling...

Sorry Brian Dorsey. It seems like you don't want to talk to me. I need a Mayor who at least wants to talk to me. I vote you off the island. Now... which of these other 20 pricks don't I like!?!

As City Councilpeople, Larry Atencio, Lori Winner, Steve Nawrocki, & Dennis Flores all voted for the corrupt pro-Duopoly cutthroat 2-Round Kyrgyzstan Runoff election to be used for this 2018 Pueblo Mayor's election instead of having a perfect ideal democracy - IRV/RCV/Preferential Voting - for future Pueblo generations & ages. That's why all 4 of them need to be voted off of the island. Them, & 17 more. Probably Brian Dorsey. I'll give him, & all of them, the benefit of the doubt 1st.
